Centre de Fénérive
The center in Fénérive East has existed since 1998. The center is located on the eastern coast, 100 kms north of Tamatave, and welcomes about forty young students, all boarders.
The President of JMDD Fénérive is Mr Pierre Bezo. He is assisted by Mrs. Silvère Ravelomanana (Center Manager), Mrs. Prisca Falihery Zo (Assistant Manager and Secretary/Accountant).
The JMDD-Fénérive center follows the absorption by JMDD of the "ITENDRO Village", an association created in 1990 by "Mamie Payet", in favor of the education of children in family environment. The latter directed it until 2000.
Almost entirely destroyed by a cyclone in February 2006 (the sleeping room was completely destroyed), the boarding school of Fénérive was rebuilt in 2017: the large dormitories were converted into smaller boxes, the refectory and the study room were completely refurbished.
