Toamasina center
The Toamasina center was created in 1995. It is located on the east coast and welcomes about forty young high school and university students, all being residents.
The JMDD Toamasina association is chaired by Mr. John Roberson Ra-Lemazava. He is assisted by Mrs. Hajaarisoa Iarifeno (Treasurer), Mrs. Natacha Tahirintsoa (Secretary), and Mr. Emmanuel Rakotomavo (Center Manager).
The construction of a new residential school was able to start in May 2015 to overcome the problems of dilapidation of the old building. As mentioned in the introduction, it was funded by the liquidation of the "Terre des jeunes" association, which managed the vacation centers of a large pharmaceutical group.
At the beginning of the construction, when the buildings were being constructed, the ceremony that is traditionally held took place. The Fokonola (district council) and its president came to make "prayers" for the success of this building site: the association "Jeunesse Malgache De Demain" will be well integrated in the district!
